The "Know How" Post
Located in the heart of Silicon valley is American Legion Post 419. The post was established in 1938 and now has over 620 members including the Auxiliary Unit. Any Military Veteran who served during times of conflict may join the American Legion.

 American Legion Santa Clara Post 419 supports and stands behind all Americans and the people serving in our Armed Forces to protect all citizens. Our Freedom is under attack and we must defend ourselves against those who would take that Freedom away from all Americans. The American Legion honors all Armed Forces Veterans.
Who We Are.
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, mutual-help, wartime veterans organization. A community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members -- men and women -- in nearly 15,000 American Legion Posts worldwide. These Posts are organized into 55 Departments -- one each for the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, France, Mexico, and the Philippines.
