Due to the illness of Past President Irma Vincent, President Ann Ward had indicated she will not longer be able to perform her duties. At the February meeting it was discussed and decided that in order for Unit 419 to continue, all member need to work together.

We want to thank everyone who assisted with the Valentine's Day Dinner/Dance. Our Chairman and Co-Chairman, Flo Gonsalves and Bess Perry, Linda and Earl McHaffie, and Lloyd Perry. As well as the many members who participated in donating raffle prizes and the ladies who worked at the party. Most members of this group have been planning, decorating, selling tickets, obtaining raffle prizes for the past several years and we want to offer our thanks for all their time and efforts.

But now we need additional assistance. Can we count on you to help? Please call Florence or Dorothy and volunteer.

There will not be a Salad Luncheon this year due to lack of participation. But we do thank all the ladies who have offered assistance in the past.

The next Unit meeting will be March 10, 7:00pm, at the American Legion Post. Wee need to discuss how we are going to continue to be a successful Unit with new Officers and Chairman for next year. Please attend and let your voice be heard.
